A tedious task, especially if you are working on a big job, is to drill pilot holes for shelving. Accuracy is critical – you don’t want wonky shelves! Then it’s the actual drilling, which is time-consuming. With the CNC machine, you can easily choose the number of holes you want in a given area, and the machine takes care of the rest. The same goes for hinge holes, which can be difficult and time-consuming to complete.
At Cworkshop, you can select CNC machining when you make up your cutting list.
The cost for drilling accurate holes for shelves or hinges are £2.50 per hole.
With a CNC machine, you no longer have to fiddle with protractors and scribbling equations on offcuts. You can now visualise and order your angle cuts through the Cworkshop website. The easy-to-use feature doesn’t rely on you calculating angles; measure the sides that require the angle. You can also select edging with this feature.
Regardless of the size of the cut of the angle, the cost for this searvice is £12 per side.
You may find yourself working on a project that demands a perfect circle, whether it is for a coffee table of a decorative wall panel. The traditional carpenter would create a jig, draw a perfect circle, and then use the jigsaw to cut the shape and sanding or filing will be required to get that perfectly smooth and rounded finish. Modern carpenters would use our CNC machine to easily and accurately cut or engraves a perfect circle.
Like circles, if your project demands an odd shape, the CNC machine will help you get this done.
