Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product developed to meet the demands of modern manufacturing and furniture production. It is produced by refining wood fibres, combining them with resin and compressing them under high heat and pressure to form dense, uniform boards. These boards are manufactured in large sheet and must be cut accurately to create usable components for furniture, interiors and joinery projects.
