There are a few specific ways to finish your Decorative Grooved Boards, and below we have the best way to finish each type of board to get the best results.
Hidrofugo MR MDF
Besides excellent routing capabilities, Hidrofugo MR MDF can take on paint more efficiently. We recommend using the spray painting method of application to cover your boards evenly for a brilliant finish. Select from various colours and paint finishes to bring out your personality.
Twincolour MDF
Twincolour MDF does not require much to finish, but to protect the board, Finsa recommends using clear lacquer to give you many years of visual appeal.
Oak veneered black MDF
To finish this oak veneer, you can try a few ways. Clear lacquer can be used, in either finish (matt, satin, or gloss), which lets the oak veneer speak for itself. Alternatively, you can stain the veneer to give the oak a new appearance.

Due to the routing, these boards are prone to slight lateral bowing along the board's length. We have conducted tests for all designs on all boards and thicknesses and have found that the following bowing of the board, when measured from the middle:
Although the boards bow, steps can be taken upon installation so that the bowing won't be noticeable.
Acoustic panels, to be used as a wall or ceiling panel, are a great product when you want to isolate as much noise in a particular room while adding a wall design feature. Losán is a Dutch company that specialises in manufacturing high-quality veneers, the same products they use for acoustic panels. The natural veneers include oak (natural or smoked), ash (natural or in black) and walnut.
These acoustic panels have been thoroughly researched before manufacturing and have undergone several tests to determine their dampening capabilities. The panels work by breaking a flat surface to improve the room's acoustics significantly and to help reduce noise by up to 50%.
The panels are made with 9mm black felt, made from PET polyester non-woven fabric; the slats are 27mm wide, 11mm thick, spaced 13mm apart, with the natural wood veneer mounted on an all-through black MDF. The oak veneer is also available on brown MDF with grey felt backing. The panels are 2400mm long, 600mm wide and a total thickness of 20mm.
Another advantage of these wall panels is that they are easy to cut to size and install.
